Michael Woolf is the Deputy President for Strategic Engagement at CEA CAPA Education Abroad. He serves on a number of boards and was a member of the Board of Directors of The Forum on Education Abroad from 2006 to 2012. He was also the recipient of the Peter A. Wollitzer Advocacy Award (2020) from the Forum on Education Abroad. 'Thoughts on Education Abroad' is a monthly column of short essays sharing his thoughts and expertise on the subject. All views and opinions in his articles are his own and may not reflect the views of other staff of CEA CAPA or the organization as a whole.
